Our mission is to encourage collaboration amongst black Christian communities and black communities of scholars who feel alienated by Conventional Christian Religious Communities, by illuminating the history, culture, geography, and moral values shared between the Ancient Hebrews of the Bible and the Indigenous peoples of Ancient Africa.

A Beautiful Introduction to Ethiopia’s Heart and History
This 5 days and 4 nights experience in Addis Ababa was meaningful, well paced, and thoughtfully planned. From the start, nothing felt rushed, and there was time to truly experience each place rather than simply move through it.
Visiting St. George Cathedral and the National Museum of Ethiopia provided a strong foundation in Ethiopia’s history, faith, and global importance. These early experiences gave important context and helped everything else fall into place.
At Unity Park, walking through the banquet hall from the time of Haile Selassie was quietly powerful. Learning about Ethiopia’s religious heritage, including Orthodox Christianity, Judaism, Protestant Christianity, and Islam, felt grounding and offered insight into the country’s deep sense of coexistence and identity.
Time at Entoto Park brought balance and lightness to the trip. Zip lining and horseback riding were fun and energizing, while lunch at Mama's Kitchen was warm and memorable. Tasting baklava, traditional Ethiopian coffee, Tej, and freshly made injera added an authentic and joyful culinary layer.
Making time for a traditional Weyba Tis steam experience created a much needed pause. The warmth and ritual were calming and restorative, offering a meaningful connection to local wellness traditions and a moment to slow down and reflect.
The restaurant choices throughout the journey were excellent. Meals at Chanoly Noodle House, Mas Zon and others were consistently enjoyable. Our local guides, Hanan and Rebika, were incredibly helpful in translating, navigating, and making sure everything flowed smoothly.
Paul, our guide and owner of Mansions Prepared tour company, brought the entire experience together. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and generous in sharing Ethiopia’s history and heritage. Hearing why he and his wife, Brandy, chose to call Ethiopia home added a personal layer that made the journey feel genuine and heartfelt.
Overall, this was a meaningful and memorable introduction to Ethiopia, one that left a lasting impression and is easy to recommend.
I have traveled with Mansions Prepared to Ethiopia on two distinct occasions, in 2022 and 2024. The experience was truly transformational! In addition to experiencing the beautiful culture, incredible food, and knowledgeable tour guides, I also had the opportunity to learn a valuable lesson - how to accept things as they are vs how I want them to be.
